Fact #3

Fact: U.S. is the biggest contributor of acrbon level per person

Source #1:

http://www.tamug.edu/labb/global_warming_info.htm

This article shows the various online resources that they used right on top of the article. And all of those websites are valid and not something that anybody can hack into and change, and defintely not wikipedia. This is a very credible source because the site has been sponsered and complied by the Texas A&M University's Laboratory for Applied Biotelemetry & Biotechnology. The source says that the fact is true and i do believe it because it has many visual graphs and disgrams showing the contributor of US and compraing to others and we see that US is infact the biggest contributor. It also explains the reason and explains the graph and diagram after each of them and then shows the source that they got the information from. It said taht US gave 23.8% of the contribtor and next highest one is PRC at 14.6% and taht is a big change that we need to takein consideration.

This website is actaully right out the book, it is like a online text that has information on global warming and this particularchapter was contributed to carbon level and stuff. So at the endof the book, there is bibliography with many diffrent sources so i think that this is a very credible source and is has been written byqualified sceintists. The source says that fact is true and i do believe it because jsut like the last source it gives information and diagrams that one country to another and where thesource was from and explaining it. The graph shows that US in the biggest contributor and it is because of our constant use of fossil fuels, which is used for electricity, gas mileage cars and many other luxeries that we enjoy.

Source #3:

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/14/world/asia/14china.html?fta=y
This source does not have any sources at the bottom as most websites because it is an article from the new york times, which is a very trsuted newspaper and website. Even though there is not a bibliography, there are sources that are intergrated within the article showing where they got the information from and how they know it is valid. The source has mixed feeling about the fact. It says that china increases lead as biggest CO2 emitter but US still remains a vast lead in carbon dioxide emissions per person. I believe this source because it is the most recent one out of the all of the websites that i have looked at and it does say that US used to be the one on top but that still leaves room for more countries to come in and that is china came in. It also shows the numbers for china and how they are dependent on coal so much and that is what drove them to come on top more than US.

I believe the last source because it is most recent and that makes sense because jsut because US was on top does not mean that no other country could have come on top afterwards, the possibility is still there and that happened in the past 6 months which the others websites have not been updated on. It also shows very clearly the comparison between US and China and where they were before and how they increased and it pretty much comes down to China's use of coal and that is wy believe the last source and that US is not the biggest contributor eventhough we are in the lead CO2 emission per person, saying that it is really really high and that we could possibily become the biggest again but as of now, it is China
