This is a great website on the diamond necklace scandal. At first it explains what it was and it all started with Cardinal presenting it to Antoinette through Madame de Lamotte. The first half of the article, it explains others who were involved in this, who are Jacques Necker, Jeanne Campen, and finally Marie Antoinette. In her section, it gives a breif summary about her how she became the queen and she was bornin 1755 in austria. And t hen it explains how she became a part of this affair and how it affected her. It explains what were the consequences because of her actions. It shows how the soceity reacted to her actions and this is important because it concerns my topic of how the soceity was affected by her doings and helps explain how the women these days are affected by her.
